Sisters
I can't believe I can say "the girls" or "my girls"!! So so fun. The first time I said it I started giggling like a three year old and of course Josh thought I was crazy...probably was a little a that point in the hosptial. I always wanted a sister close to my age and am so excited I can give that gift to them. Once Brooklyn is sleeping better I will let the girls share a room. Bailey can't stay away from you Miss Brooklyn. She follows me around the house and mimics everything I do with you. Including...breast feeding! She gets a little jealous not of you....but of anyone that wants to hold you. She is already very protective of her little sister. The first day we spent at home Mommy was in your room putting up stuff and Daddy was in our room. I got Bailey up from her nap and told her to go say hi to Daddy. About 10 minutes later I decided that it was just too queit on that side of the house and walked into our bedroom to find Bailey in the bassinet with Brooklyn. Of course my first reaction was to scream..then laugh...then almost cry to think what could have happened. It was a relief to know that you were in there with her for such a long time and didn't hurt her. You were just looking over her and touching her so sweet. Also every baby wipe was out and I guess you were cleaning her up. Daddy was asleep so I know you had to have been quiet not to wake him. Jackson walked in and said "Bailey...what have you done...that is a no,no." I swear I don't think their will ever again be a dull moment in our home. We have gone over the rules...but you just can't seem to let go of the idea that you aren't the Mommy. I'm just thrilled to see you so in love with your new baby sister. Every pic is of you loving, hugging, kissing, or taking care of her. The pic of Me-Me holding you and you are smiling ear to ear was when we walked in the door with Brooklyn. You were so excited you didn't know what to do with yourself. You just kept giggling with amazement. Just precious.
